Welcome to Learn4Life @ St. Michael Foundation (referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website. By accessing or using the Learn4Life @ St. Michael Foundation website (referred to as the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Website.
2. Eligibility

3. Course Enrolment and Payment
a. Learn4Life @ St. Michael Foundation offers adult education courses of varying lengths and costs in Malta. The details of each course, including duration and fees, will be clearly specified on the Website.
b. By enrolling in a course, you agree to pay the specified fees associated with that course. Payments shall be made in Euros through the provided payment methods on the Website.
c. Courses are paid upfront with registration.
4. Collection and Use of Personal Data
a. When booking a course, we will collect and process your personal data, including but not limited to your email address, name, address, mobile number, and bank account details.
b. We will use this personal data solely for the purpose of course enrolment, payment processing, and communication related to your course participation.
c. We will handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
5. Course Content and Materials
a. The course content, including but not limited to lectures, videos, readings, quizzes, and assignments, provided on the Website is for educational purposes only. The information presented is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or up to date.
b. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the course content without our prior written consent.
6. Intellectual Property
a. The Website and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
b. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Website or any part thereof without our prior written permission.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
a. If you wish to cancel your enrolment in a course, you must notify us in writing. Refunds will be issued based on the following conditions:
- Cancellations made within 15 days prior to the course start date will be eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 15 days prior to the course start date will be eligible for a partial refund, with the amount determined by us.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made on or after the course start date.
- In any of the above possibilities an administration fee of € 5 will be charged.
b. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course at our discretion. In such cases, you will be offered the option to transfer to another course or receive a full refund.
8. Promotion through Facebook and Instagram
a. We may promote Learn4Life @ St. Michael Foundation and its courses through our Facebook and Instagram pages. Such promotions are subject to these Terms and Conditions and any additional terms and conditions imposed by Facebook and Instagram.
b. We are not responsible for any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in the promotion materials on Facebook or Instagram.
9. Use of Photos and Videos
a. Learn4Life @ St. Michael Foundation reserves the right to capture photos or videos during courses for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the Website, social media, advertisements, and marketing materials.
b. By participating in the courses, you grant us the irrevocable right and permission to use your likeness, image, voice, and any materials captured during the courses for promotional purposes as described in section 9(a).
c. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded during the courses, please inform us in writing prior to the course start date.
10. Insurance Coverage
a. Learn4Life @ St. Michael Foundation does not provide insurance coverage for course participants.
b. It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary insurance coverage, including but not limited to health, travel, or personal liability insurance, to cover any potential risks or incidents that may occur during your participation in the courses.
11. Limitation of Liability
a. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Website.
b. In no event shall our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Website exceed the total amount paid by you for the course.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta.
13. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
